We are proud to announce the start of one of our newest project in Saudi Arabia, Ras Al Khair Industrial City – whichis EPFM On Demand for SEPCO III.
Our client,SEPCO – Electric Power Construction Corporation is affiliated to Power Construction Corporation of China, and is capable of providing one-stop service of EPC contracting for power station projects regarding survey, design, equipment completing, building and construction, commissioning and operation. In Saudi Arabia they are constructing a Power and Plant Desalination facility, where we are involved in building an Enterprise Content Management platform, specifically on EPFM delivery.
The Company is ranked in the list of Top 225 International Contractors in Engineering News-Record for six years and ranked 53 in 2012. SEPCOIII is awarded with Credit AAA by the China International Contractors Association, and is the only company with this laurel in this industry. At present, SEPCOIII spans its business across India, Nigeria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Indonesia and Singapore. The Company also builds strategic cooperation relationships with many famous companies in America, Germany, Japan and so on.
Why is this project important for us?
Because it is our first SaaS – software as a service project, and also EMC’s first SaaS EPFM project in Middle East region, which involvescloud content management conceptof EMC OnDemand for deploying EPFM in the cloud, enabling you to:
·Provide turn-key installation and instant-on cloud services
·Reduce platform complexity and project risk
·Transform IT from a cost center to a growth engine, and many more advantages.
The key to utilizing information successfully—rather than being overwhelmed by it—is the ability to efficiently capture and securely manage information from disparate sources. Transactional content arrives in many forms including paper, fax, and a variety of electronic data formats. For SEPCO III, these forms and documents can include different document types and they have to be efficiently and securely managed, shared and stored, and every process has to be tracked, in order to ensure the best Return of Investment with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership. These matters are really important from a compliance and efficiency point of view and they have to be completely and accurately deployed and developed.
